Wales Millennium Centre 7/7/2010

Last night was a wonderful evening at the Wales Millennium Centre where I feel I played my best concert so far. I have been playing there regularly and each time feel my performances have got better and my set more refined. Last night was the best turn out and the feedback and response was incredible. There was a real buzz in the air and everybody seemed very receptive to the music. I played a couple of pieces by Ludovico Einaudi but the majority of the set comprised original music from my Night Music album. Opening with the Night Music suite was lovely, and in fact was the first time I didn't open the set with Tenderness I/Storm. Aria has really started to grow on me as well and the ending was full of fire and passion and felt great to have a full hearty applause.

It was also great to see a couple who had been to a previous concert return to watch me play again, I was very touched by that.

The replaced closing piece from Tenderness II to my solo arrangement of Eric Claption's Wonderful Tonight really worked well and I can see that being a regular closer.

No performances for a couple of months so I will be refining and developing my setlist for those shows.
